Are you looking for durable, robust packaging for your heavy goods? Cardboard packaging that reliably protects your products? Discover EB-flute cartons from Labelprint24.com!
Perfect for safely transporting and presenting your heavy or valuable products.
Waves in corrugated cardboard are produced in various sizes, determined by wave pitch (t) and wave height (h). These create different wave types, ranging from fine, to medium, to coarse waves.
Larger and higher waves, such as those with increased pitch and height, are suitable for heavier goods and merchandise. Combining different wave types is also possible—for example, pairing E- and B-flutes creates EB-flute, a double-flute corrugated board that balances strength and printability.
The EB-flute, also known as double flute, is the most widely used flute combination. It features two layers of flute (E- and B-flute) glued together with an intermediate wall. The outer layer is E-flute, chosen for its excellent printability, while the overall structure combines the strengths of both flutes: an increased load capacity of up to 30 kg and a smooth, flat surface ideal for high-quality printing.
At Labelprint24, our EB-flute with a thickness of 4.5 mm is the strongest option for your packaging. Beyond its visual appeal, the corrugated cardboard offers excellent protection against external influences such as scratches, knocks, dirt, moisture, and UV radiation. Thanks to its combination of good printing quality and high load capacity, EB-flute cartons are perfect for packaging heavy goods like cylinder heads, guitar amplifiers, televisions, and more. They are also suitable for transport, warehouse storage, and shipping.
Corrugated board is an exceptionally environmentally friendly packaging material. Its production is resource-saving and energy-efficient, as the paper used is sourced from renewable raw materials obtained from sustainably managed forests. These forests are maintained in a way that ensures the tree population in Europe is steadily increasing, with minimal trees felled for production. The primary raw material is made from broken and thinned wood from forest maintenance activities.
Approximately 80 percent of annual corrugated board production consists of recycled material. After removing chemicals, impregnations, and adhesives, the cardboard can be almost entirely recycled, making it very sustainable.
The combination of environmental friendliness, stability, and lightweight design makes corrugated board a simple yet ingenious packaging solution.
