Have PVC stickers printed individually

PVC stickers are the right choice when labels need to be particularly robust, tear-resistant and permanently weatherproof. The PVC film reliably withstands moisture, UV radiation and mechanical stress, making it suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor applications – even for sea freight. PVC labels are used, for example, as warning and safety labels, machine and equipment markings or technical information signs.

At Labelprint24, you can order PVC stickers on rolls, which you can configure directly online.

PE vs. PP vs. PVC – which label material is right for your application?

Depending on the substrate, level of stress and intended environment, different plastic materials may be suitable:

  • PE stickers: a very soft, flexible film for compressible packaging such as squeeze bottles or pouches.
  • PP stickers: stable plastic labels for rigid containers where a smooth, abrasion-resistant surface is required.
  • PVC stickers: particularly resistant to weathering, UV radiation and many chemicals – ideal for permanent labelling in demanding environments.

If labels need to remain legible outdoors for years, withstand high mechanical stress or be applied to machinery and equipment, PVC labels are often the most robust option.

Typical applications for PVC stickers

PVC stickers are used wherever standard paper or film labels reach their limits. PVC is one of the most durable materials for film-based labels, especially when extreme stress or outdoor use is required:

  • Warning and safety notices on machinery, equipment and doors
  • Labelling for control cabinets, measuring devices and testing equipment
  • Type plates, inspection labels and asset stickers
  • Long-term labelling on containers, bins or transport boxes used outdoors
  • Information and prohibition signs, pictograms or markings for businesses, warehouses and workshops

Material: glossy white PVC film with permanent adhesive

For PVC stickers, we use a universal glossy white PVC film with a permanent adhesive. This combination is designed for demanding indoor and outdoor applications, is water-resistant and UV-stable, and is suitable for both deformable and non-deformable containers.
The typical temperature range is between -20 °C and +80 °C, covering many industrial and logistics applications. The films are also thermal transfer printable; suitable ribbons are available in our online shop.

Configure PVC stickers in the online calculator – here’s how

You can configure your PVC stickers conveniently yourself using the online calculator. First, specify how many stickers or labels you need and how many versions are to be produced. Based on this, you then select the required material finish and the appropriate adhesive. Next, define the label format and winding direction. You can either choose one of the available standard formats or enter a custom size with your own dimensions. The corner radius can also be freely defined: starting from 2 mm, you can select a value between 0 and 10 mm to adapt the label shape to your layout. You then choose the colour configuration – from 1-colour black to 4-colour Euroscale. Special colours and the processing of customer-supplied materials are also possible on request. In the coating section, you decide whether your PVC stickers should be finished with UV protective varnish or with a protective laminate in a matt or gloss finish. For additional label finishing, you can choose glossy hot foil stamping in gold, silver, copper, green, blue, red or rainbow.

Optional tactile warning triangles can also be added. Further configuration options include the extra professional print file check, a barcode check for use in POS systems, and the option of subsequent thermal transfer printing.

Finally, upload your print file or create the label design directly in the online designer. Production is carried out within short delivery times, depending on the product and configuration. If you have any questions about materials, adhesives or print files, our specialist team will be happy to assist you personally.

FAQ about PVC stickers

What is the difference between PVC stickers and paper labels?

PVC stickers are significantly more robust than paper labels. They are tear-resistant, insensitive to moisture and, depending on the application, resistant to many chemicals, cleaning agents and oils. In such environments, paper labels would often soften, tear or become illegible.

If your labelling needs to remain permanently on machinery, containers or outdoor surfaces, PVC labels are a particularly durable solution.

Are PVC stickers suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, PVC stickers are very well suited to many outdoor applications. The film is weather-resistant, and UV-stable versions help prevent the print from fading quickly. This means that warning notices, prohibition signs and markings on gates, doors or containers can remain legible over a long period of time.

It is important that the substrate, material selection and adhesive are matched to one another. If you have specific requirements, we will be happy to assist you.

What temperatures can PVC stickers withstand?

The typical application range for PVC stickers is approximately -20 °C to +80 °C, depending on the material and adhesive. Within this temperature range, both the film and the adhesive usually remain stable, ensuring that the label stays securely in place and the information remains legible.

In cases involving extreme temperatures, for example near heat sources, in very hot production environments or in particularly cold storage areas, the technical specifications for the material used should be checked.

Which adhesive options are available for PVC stickers?

As standard, PVC stickers are supplied with a permanent adhesive that adheres reliably to many smooth and slightly textured surfaces, both indoors and outdoors. This adhesive is designed for a long-lasting bond, helping to prevent the labels from coming off unintentionally.

If you have specific requirements, such as very particular substrates or unusual application conditions, we can work with you to assess whether alternative material or adhesive solutions would be more suitable.
