Cardboard boxes according to FEFCO 0203 (or also called cardboard packaging/cardboard box) have overlapping bottom and lid flaps. This creates a double bottom which is very stable. The inner flaps are not overlapping but touching. Despite their stable shape, cardboard boxes can be stored in a space-saving way and are easy to assemble.

Only a few steps are needed to assemble the box. To close the carton, either gluing, wire stitching or adhesive tape can be used. The best materials for our cardboard boxes 

Our cardboard boxes at Labelprint24 are produced from corrugated cardboard. Corrugated cardboard is made by gluing together a smooth and a corrugated paper web, which gives the corrugation its stability.

Our corrugated board can contain a high proportion of recycled fibres, depending on the selected material grade. Where applicable, specific grades contain around 80% recycled material. The exact fibre composition varies according to the corrugated board used.

Cardboard boxes - FEFCO 0203

The cardboard boxes correspond to FEFCO code 0203. FEFCO is an international standard for describing the structure of cardboard boxes. Cardboard boxes of group 02 are described as folding boxes or folding crates. They consist of one workpiece and each have four closing flaps at the top and bottom. In the case of FEFCO 0203, the outer closure flaps are completely overlapping. The inner closure flaps touch each other.
