The grammage and material thickness vary depending on the choice of material. Cardboard is available in thicknesses from 0.315 to 0.6 millimetres and grammages from 215 to 500 grams per square metre.

At Labelprint24 we are aware that the increasing mail order business is bringing more and more packaging into circulation. This is why we use cardboard for our materials. Cardboard is by and large a very environmentally friendly product, as it is made from the renewable and natural raw material wood. Moreover, cardboard can often be recycled. Practically, cardboard is also always made from wastepaper and is additionally mixed with fresh pulp. It is also possible to biodegrade the material. Accordingly, it does not place an additional burden on the environment.

Other design options

In addition to the choice of material, you can also customise your boxes in other aspects. For example, we can produce your boxes according to your desired format. To do this, simply enter the desired length, width and height under the "Format" tab in the project configurator. Please note, however, that the maximum values cannot always be combined. Especially for the inner dimension, we recommend choosing the packaging at least 2 millimetres larger than the dimensions of the product to be packaged.

Furthermore, it is possible to have your folding boxes coated. If you would like to use a protective coating for your boxes, then you can choose between a glossy or a matt print coating. If, on the other hand, you choose a protective laminate, you have the option of laminating your cardboard boxes with a transparent gloss, transparent matt or transparent with soft touch.

Finally, you can have your folding boxes finished at Labelprint24 on request. This way, your product is optimally presented and also finds its place at the point of sale. It is possible to emboss your box with hot foil stamping in gold, silver or copper. You can also have the folding boxes printed with Braille.
