Structure of double-sided wrap-around labels

Our resistant film material can be easily moulded without tearing. It is permanently glued to the round container at one point, and the rest of the label is tightly moulded to the wrapped container (can be dispensed by machine). Only the final connection point, after wrapping several times if necessary, is then finally glued and labelled with a tab for opening and closing.

Innovative labels for chemical packaging

The problem: The GHS system (Globally Harmonised System) was introduced in 2011 to standardise the differences in the international labelling of chemicals. The aim was to label substances and mixtures uniformly worldwide. The familiar orange-coloured hazardous substance symbols were replaced by new GHS hazard pictograms, red-bordered diamonds with black symbols on a white background. The transitional periods provided for this are coming to an end and many producers and packagers are therefore faced with the problem of fitting even more content onto often small, round product packaging.

The solution: We have developed a label that solves this packaging problem in a simple way. The new wrap-around label with a printable reverse side adds another speciality label to our existing range of practical labels for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Like all labelling solutions from labelprint24, the wrap-around label without reverse side printing is also extremely high quality and absolutely cost-effective as its counterpart with a printable reverse side.

Our double-sided wrap-around labels can be made of paper or film and can be affixed directly to the product, either permanently or removably. An optional transparent laminate provides protection against tearing, moisture and other external influences.

Special highlight: the printable area available on the label is doubled by the option of printing on the reverse side as well. The production costs of a wrap-around label with a printable reverse side are significantly lower than those of a booklet label.

The wrap-around label is specially printed for cylindrical structures and round packaging, and can be wrapped around the carrier several times. It can be easily opened, unrolled and resealed several times and can be dispensed by machine. The design, format and colour of the wrap-around label with a printable reverse side is individually tailored to customer requirements.

The newly developed label is produced in outstanding print quality using 100 per cent digital printing. The particular advantages of digital printing are the simple personalisation and the unbeatable cost benefits of inkjet UV technology. The extended information area makes outer packaging and leaflets superfluous.
